Christmas ornaments (love boots)

I would like to share with you those two cute ornaments for Christmas.
Both ornaments have something in common. A circle.
First of all, I will present the heart ornament for Christmas, which is a free pattern.


Christmas Love (heart)

Skill level: easy
Finished Length: about 12 cm.

With red yarn

The foundation:
4 chs. join with sl st in first ch.
1 ch, 12 sc in the circle.

R1:
-5 chs; sc in second crochet from the hook, sc in next chs;
-1 sc in next 2 sc from the circle; 10 chs; sc in second crochet from the hook, sc in next chs;
-1 sc in next 2 sc from the circle; 5 chs; sc in second crochet from the hook, sc in next chs;
-1 sc in next 2 sc from the circle; 10 chs; sc in second crochet from the hook, sc in next chs;
-1 sc in next 2 sc from the circle; 5 chs; sc in second crochet from the hook, sc in next chs;
-1 sc in next 2 sc from the circle; 10 chs; sc in second crochet from the hook, sc in next chs;
-1 sc in next 2 sc; join.

R2:
-3 chs, sl st in top of 5 chs from previous row.
-7 chs, sl st in top of 10 chs from previous row.
-14 chs, sl st in top of next 5 chs from previour row.
-10 chs, sl st in top of next  10 chs from previour row.
-10 chs, sl st in top of next  5 chs from previour row.
-14 chs, sl st in top of next 10 chs from previour row.
-7 chs, sl st in top of 5 chs from previous row. Join.

R3:
- 1 ch, 7 sc in next space ch; 14 sc in next space ch; 10 sc in next space ch; 10 sc in next space ch; 14 sc in next space ch; 7 sc in last space ch; join.
Cut the yarn.

With white yarn

Crochet picots around the edge as follows:
- 1 ch, 1 sc in next 3 sc, *3 chs, 1 sc in the same sc; sc in next 3 sc; repeate from * until the end. join.
- crochet chains along the star ray of the center of the heart as follows: 3 chs, 1 sc on 3rd sc; so on until the end.

Cut the yarn.

Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Christmas Boot

Skill level: easy
Finished width: between 8 cm and 12 cm.
Finished Length: about 14 cm.

Materials:
Yarn: red, white, green
Crochet hook 4 mm

Exact gauge is not essential for this project.
