This is a basic pineapple. A very beautiful motif!
The pattern...
Note: on the beginning of the R2 until R12 make 1 chain for turning
12 ch and sl st in first ch.
R1: in the ring work 3 ch, 1 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc, 3 ch, 9 dc, 3 ch, 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc. Turn.
R2: sl st in next 2 dc, (sl st, 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in first ch-2 space, 3 ch, skip next 2 dc and the ch-3, (1 dc, 1 ch) in each of the next 9 dc, 3 ch, (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in last ch-2 space. Turn.
R3: sl st in next 2 dc, (sl st, 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in first ch-2 space, 4 ch, (sc in next ch-1 sp, 3 ch) for 7 times, 4 ch, (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in next ch-2 space. Turn,
R4: sl st in next 2 dc, (sl st, 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in first ch-2 space, 4 ch, (sc, 3 ch) in all ch-3 sp, 4 ch, (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in next ch-2 space. Turn,
Repeat R4 for 6 times, until not ch-3 sp remain.
R11: sl st in next 2 dc, (sl st, 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in first ch-2 space, (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in last ch-2 space. Turn.
R12: sl st in next 2 dc, sl st in next ch-2 sp, 4 ch, sl st in last ch-2 sp.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your pattern its beautiful! there's on ly one part I didn't understand were you say "sl st in next 2 dc, sl st in next ch-2 sp, (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in first ch-2 space". Which ch-2 spaces are you referring to since there are only 2 in each row- one at the beginning and one at the end or did I get it wrong?

Thank you Maya for your observation! I modified the explanation from the pattern and now I hope that is more clear.
ReplyDeleteAll (sl st, 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) are crochet in first chain space having 2 chain.
